The Store Manager in Training (SMIT) will be responsible for learning all aspects of managing Juiced By B, an urban fresh-pressed juice and smoothie bar. This role will prepare the candidate to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, manage employees, and drive sales while maintaining the company’s commitment to healthy, fresh, and quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure a high-performing staff.
- Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and motivate employees to meet goals.
- Create and manage team schedules to ensure proper staffing levels during operating hours.
2. Operations Management
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, cleaned, and in working order.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
3. Customer Experience
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by upholding high service standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Promote customer loyalty by fostering relationships with repeat customers.
4. Inventory & Product Management
- Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste, and ensure product freshness.
- Assist in placing inventory orders and negotiating with suppliers as needed.
- Ensure all products are displayed attractively and labeled accurately.
5. Sales & Marketing
- Execute promotions, events, and other marketing initiatives to drive sales.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to increase revenue per customer.
- Track daily sales and set team goals to achieve performance benchmarks.
6. Financial Management
- Learn to manage store budgets, track expenses, and analyze profit margins.
- Handle cash handling and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in business or management is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in retail, food service, or customer service management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of health and wellness trends is preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Training Period:
The training period will last 6 months during which the candidate will learn:
- Juiced By B’s operations, products, and customer service standards.
- Key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales management techniques.
- Techniques for team management and fostering a positive work environment.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate during training: $15.00-16.50
- Opportunities for performance-based bonuses and promotions upon completion of the training program.
