Bring your skills and experience to develop staff, align the team with organizational goals, contribute to the development of standardized processes, and have oversight and accountability of the performance of their team. This position is responsible for providing direct support to program management in relation to Earned Value Management (EVM) and Program Scheduling by maximizing the organization's efficiency, productivity, and performance. The Manager, Integrated Program Scheduling, provides planning and scheduling leadership and day-to-day direction to a team Integrated Program Schedulers (IPS). This position regularly interacts with the external customer, program senior leadership and IPTs on matters related to program performance, tools, data, and Earned Value compliance. This is an on-site position located at Bell's headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas.
What you'll be doing as a Manager, Integrated Program Scheduling:
Demonstrate exceptional technical knowledge of Earned Value Management, Critical Path Method scheduling, applicable software systems (Oracle Primavera P6 Professional, Primavera Risk Analysis, etc.), schedule health metrics, and Industry & Government publications.Acts as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all planning, scheduling, and Earned Value matters relating to assigned areas of responsibility.Hire, train, mentor, and develop a team of integrated program schedulers.Communicate the Integrated Program Scheduling team's organizational goals in alignment with Bell executive strategic direction.Optimizes the organizational structure to enable successful execution of the team's responsibilities.Understands the top-level organizational needs and translates the strategic objectives into clearly defined tactical objectives for the team.Enable a productive team by removing obstacles, acquiring needed resources, or any other matters hindering progress on tactical objectives.Advocate for the team by identifying opportunities to demonstrate their capabilities to help solve planning challenges.Coordinate with the customer for Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reports and scheduling and earned value metrics.Lead the development of planning documents such as the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Program Summary aster Schedule (PSMS).Contribute to the development and maintenance of team processes / work instructions and adapt these processes to the changing needs of the business.Proactively evaluates program needs, develops strategies to meet those needs, and provides recommended strategies to program leadership.
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role:
Strong understanding of Primavera P6, and Primavera Risk Analysis.Expert understanding of Critical Path Method Scheduling, industry and government scheduling best practices, and IMPR / IPMDAR Reporting Requirements.Understanding of USG contracts and RFP process.Understanding of helicopter / tiltrotor aircraft design, development, production, procurement, and assembly processes.
What you need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Finance, Business, or other related discipline.8 years combined experience in program scheduling, Earned Value Management, and/or other applicable experience within aerospace & defense.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance if needed in the future.
