LifeGift is currently looking for a Manager of Donation Systems in Houston


Do you possess the attributes to be a successful Manager of Donation Systems and perform the following essential functions?

  • Supervises and assists donation systems’ staff with the design of hospital development strategies, programs and materials by utilizing strategic marketing plans tailored to meet the needs of each hospital within the Southeast Region of the LifeGift donation service area.
  • Oversees donation development plans for partner hospitals and ensures the plans are monitored and updated routinely.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining the organization’s donation systems’ policies and procedures.
  • Performs ongoing evaluation of donation systems’ staff performance regarding quality performance indicators and performance reviews.
  • Provides ongoing training and competency reviews for donation systems’ staff to build skills necessary to perform job responsibilities
  • Assists with the oversight of the medical record review process. Ensures that the donation systems remain in compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, in conjunction with the Director of Donation Systems.
  • Maintains a current knowledge of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) standards, state and federal laws pertaining to organ donation and transplantation; including but not limited to any other accreditation agencies

Do you have the education and experience to be a Manager of Donation Systems?

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social work, health care administration, marketing or related degree; master’s degree preferred or a combined total of seven (7) years progressive experience in a related field.
  • At least five (5) years of Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience in public speaking, sales/marketing, data analysis, and/or strategic planning preferred.
  • This is not a remote position

This role requires frequent travel and ability to commute to different hospital partners within our service area.

As a condition of employment, you must be able to attain Hospital Badge and EMR Access from all of the LifeGift Hospital Partners
