Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitized before and after each use.
- Provide clients with advice on nail care and maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art and techniques to offer clients innovative options.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a pleasant experience for clients.
- Assist in retail sales by recommending products that complement nail services.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the salon.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role in the beauty industry.
- Knowledge of retail math to assist with product sales and inventory management.
- Familiarity with various techniques such as hair threading, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and hair styling is a plus.
- Strong understanding of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate shades.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by state regulations.
