Job Description Summary:
The Site Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations at the Mapleton site, including the Fatty Acid Plant, Derivatives Plant, Hydrogen Plant, Wastewater Treatment, and Warehouse. Ensures safe, compliant, and cost-effective production that meets customer expectations. Coordinates cross-functional efforts with EHS&Q, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR. Drives continuous improvement, strategic planning, and workforce development. Also accountable for maintaining and reporting on the Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the daily operation of the Facility.
- Enable the Wastewater Treatment and Warehouse operations to produce products and intermediates that meet or exceed the internal and external customers' requirements.
- Ensure a safe operation that meets or exceeds all compliance and environmental regulations as well as internal policies
- Control manufacturing costs within budgets and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the aforementioned operation with other Mapleton functional groups, such as EHS&Q, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain and Human Resources.
- As part of the site management team, contribute to the strategic operations of the site, including short- and long-term strategic planning.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent degree and experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a chemical process plant environment with supervision and engineering responsibilities.
- Skills with communicating/working with individuals with varied backgrounds and nationalities
- Strategic vision with an outlook from 0-5 years.
Summary Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
Pay Range: $119,900-$199,800
