Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salesperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for organic food education and health and wellness, with the ability to build strong relationships with and educate clients. As a Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and product knowledge. Must have the physical ability to lift boxes, tables, and put up a pop-up canopy with instruction.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to potential customers.
- Maintain an attractive farmers market booth, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Stay informed about the olive oil industry trends, product updates, and competitor offerings.
Experience
- Proven experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of the benefit of a Mediterranean Diet and of olive oil in general a plus.
