Coldwater Mountain Brewpub is a destination brewery and restaurant located at the base of Alabama’s top mountain biking trail. We’re known for bold food, craft beer, a rotating cocktail menu, and a strong connection to our local community.
We’re looking for a self-led Marketing professional who doesn’t need to be told what to do. This role is for someone who thrives on ownership - who can bring fresh ideas to the table, plan campaigns from start to finish, and execute creative strategies to grow our audience and increase in-house traffic.

Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership
- Create and lead marketing strategies that align with Coldwater’s voice and goals
- Identify and pursue new ways to promote our food, beer, events, and brand presence
- Take full ownership of marketing projects with minimal oversight
- Regularly present ideas, opportunities, and results to leadership
Digital Marketing & Advertising
- Run targeted ad campaigns through Google Ads and other platforms
- Use demographic data to optimize reach, engagement, and ROI
- Maintain and update Google Business, Yelp, and other platforms
Social Media & Content Creation
- Plan, write, and schedule weekly content across Instagram, Facebook, and Stories
- Capture photos and videos of weekly features, events, and team moments
- Post real-time stories or reels during high-traffic times or live events
- Engage with guest content, reshare posts, and maintain a consistent brand voice
Email Marketing & Guest Communication
- Design and send branded email campaigns
- Build and manage email lists, including segmentation for our wine tastings, events, and promos
- Track engagement and optimize based on open/click rates
Print Marketing & On-Site Branding
- Design and update flyers, table tents, signage, and chalkboards monthly
- Ensure in-house marketing materials are clear, attractive, and on-brand
- Support the team by promoting current and upcoming programming
Analytics & Optimization
- Track performance of campaigns, posts, and ads weekly
- Provide monthly reports with key takeaways and recommendations
- Adjust strategies based on results and upcoming goals
Qualifications:
Required:
- Prior professional experience in marketing OR a degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar
- Proficiency in Google Ads
- Understanding of audience segmentation, demographics, and ad targeting
- Strong writing, visual, and design skills (Adobe Express, etc.)
- Comfortable working independently and owning the full scope of marketing operations
Preferred:
- Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Able to capture and edit quality photo/video content in a fast-paced setting

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
