Job Summary
Working hours will be 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm.
- Masks or unmasks various products and parts for painting or selective plating.
- Interprets blueprints, work instructions, both written and verbal instructions, to determine the most effective procedures for masking various products.
- Uses masking tape, paint, various types of wax, and protective devices to selectively mask off certain sections of parts and/or units that are to be painted or plated.
- Uses various hand tools such as punches, scissors, brushes, knives, or razor blades to cut and remove tape.
- Position protective coatings on parts or units in accordance with instructions. Removes tape, wax, paint, and other protective coatings after the selective painting or plating process has been completed.
- Adheres to all processing specifications necessary to achieve blueprint requirements and the quality of the hardware.
- Demonstrates excellent safety practices and habits to ensure all rules are obeyed and implemented. Keeps the work area clean.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.94 - $22.94 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
