Key Responsibilities for the Math Instructor / Teacher Role:
- Teach small-group K–8 math classes using company-provided curriculum and instructional strategies that focus on developing mathematical minds and abstract thinking skills
- Facilitate a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment
- Review student homework, conduct formative assessments, and adapt instruction to meet individual needs
- Share post-lesson recaps and homework assignments with parents
- Track and report student progress each semester to families
- Communicate promptly with parents and provide make-up sessions as needed
- Mentor students to think logically, ask questions, and love mathematics
Preferred Qualifications for Math Instructor / Teacher Candidates:
- Strong foundation in mathematics; a bachelor’s degree in math, science, engineering or a related field is preferred
- Mature and talented undergraduate math majors with tutoring or competition backgrounds are welcome to apply
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring elementary or middle school students is required
- Familiarity with math enrichment programs or math competitions is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills and classroom presence
- Passion for helping students build both academic skills and confidence
You will teach at school campuses or our own centers to small classes of 1-6 students for 1-2.5 hours (mostly at least 1.5 hours for each weekday) between 3-6pm on weekdays. We are flexible and can adapt to your weekly availability. Specific schedules may vary depending on your and students’ available days and times.
Here is an illustrative schedule:
- Weekday afternoons: 3:30–5:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You will teach for 1-2.5 hours between about 3:00-6pm on weekdays. The specific hours will vary depending on the final confirmed courses. Can you teach at one or more of these locations? - We are primarily hiring for (1) fall: 9/1/25-12/18/25 or the 2025-2026 full school year between 9/1/25 and 6/12/26 excluding holiday and school breaks. Can you teach at least one full session (missing no more than ~1 week / session)?
