The MDS Coordinator is responsible for:
- The coordination of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process to ensure compliance with accuracy attestation and timely completion of resident assessments in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, OBRA and other pay or program requirements
- Ensures that the assessments accurately reflect the physical, mental and psychosocial status of each resident
- Ensures accuracy of RAI to reflect optimal reimbursement for services provided
- Ensures appropriate documentation to report and support services provided and assessment accuracy
- Communicates effectively with other members of the interdisciplinary team
- The ability to work with residents, family members and staff
Candidates must have:
- Current Georgia Nurse License in good standing (LPN or RN)
- 2-3 years of experience
- Good organization skills
- Working knowledge of the MDS and RAI Working knowledge of 3.0
