Meal Service & National School Lunch Program

• Oversee set up food, supplies, and utensils for meal distribution.

• Reduce waste, reuse items, and recycle as indicated through the campus procedures.
• Clean work area and equipment.
• Store food in designated areas.
• Order and record meals service, confirm that all are NSLP compliant.
• Assist in the qualification and verification of the families who apply for the Free or Reduced meals.
• Practices safe food handling according to Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point HACCP, LA County Health Department, and PCS Food Services Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain production records.

• School point of contact with vendors for any issue with food or deliveries.

• Supervise assigned school campus areas, including classrooms, campus perimeter, restrooms, parking lots and eating areas to enforce school rules with regard to safety and student behavior.
• Reinforce school rules and policies.
• May be asked to administer first aid, open and close safety/ security gates.

• High School Diploma
• SafeServe certification preferred.
• Ability of lifting/carrying 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently and able to push and pull a maximum force of 50 pounds.
• Computer proficiency with Google Mail/ Calendar, mPower, Word and Excel.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
