About the Role
We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to support our mechanical engineering capabilities across fabrication, commissioning, maintenance and shutdown operations for mining clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install and modify mechanical assemblies, machine tools, hydraulic power systems and components.
- Support engineering and technical teams in mechanical plant design and equipment modifications.
- Organise and supervise inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
- At Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in heavy‑duty mechanical systems, mining environments or fabrication workshops.
- Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and diagrams.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
- Sound understanding of mechanical safety standards and engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
