Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our dynamic Structural Heart team in a high-volume cardiology outpatient clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated MA-C looking to make a meaningful impact in cardiovascular care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical duties such as:
- Taking vitals, including manual blood pressure readings
- Performing 12-lead EKGs
- Assisting with patient rooming and procedures
- Complete administrative tasks including:
- Chart prep and documentation
- Medication refills
- Medical records requesting
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients
- Use EPIC for documentation (EPIC experience preferred, but not required)
- Adapt and float within your scope of practice as needed to support clinic operations
Qualifications:
- Active MA-C license (Required)
- BLS certification (Required)
- Minimum 6 months of experience in an adult outpatient clinic setting (Cardiology preferred but not required)
- Experience with manual blood pressure is essential
- EPIC experience is a plus
- Strong multitasking, organization, and communication skills
- A team player with the ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced setting
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $26.01 - $32.33 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
