As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our Family Practice. You will support our Nurse Practitioners (PCP's) and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. We strive to provide Exceptional Primary Care.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and review chief complaint and medications.
- Create an electronic encounter for each patient.
- Arrange labs, radiology, tests, studies, etc. ordered by provider.
- Enter patient health information into our EHR (Practice Fusion).
- Check patients in/out.
- Complete PA's and Referrals.
- Answer phones.
- Assist during medical examinations.
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records
- Medical Assistant Certificate

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
