Summary
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in providing top-notch patient care at our facility in Merrimack Valley. This role is vital in supporting our mission of delivering personalized healthcare services to our community.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Administer medications and provide basic life support as needed
- Conduct intake assessments and document vital signs accurately
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Ensure a welcoming environment for patients and families
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and EHR systems
- Strong skills in patient service, intake procedures, and medication administration
- Basic life support certification required
- Experience in a clinical setting is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
