Summary of Job Duties
- Greet and escort patients to exam rooms; obtain and document medical history, chief complaint, and vital signs.
- Assist providers with physical exams, minor procedures, and patient care coordination.
- Perform phlebotomy, administer immunizations/injections, and conduct point-of-care tests (EKG, urinalysis, glucose, strep, etc.).
- Collect, prepare, and label laboratory specimens for analysis.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and chronic disease management.
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms and medical equipment; ensure infection control compliance.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EMR) including documentation, charting, and updating patient information.
- Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and verify insurance/authorizations.
- Process prescription refills and communicate provider instructions to patients.
- Support quality improvement initiatives such as vaccination tracking, preventive screenings, and patient follow-up.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physicain assistants and office staff to ensure efficient clinic workflow and excellent patient care.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
