Women’s Wellness MD is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant with phlebotomy skills who can also support front desk and administrative operations. This hybrid clinical-admin role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, patient-centered women’s health environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for lab processing
- Assist providers with rooming patients, taking vitals, and medical documentation
- Manage patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked
- Support front desk operations: answering phones, scheduling, verifying insurance
- Handle administrative tasks: faxing, scanning, intake forms, and supply ordering
- Provide excellent customer service in a professional, respectful manner
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience required
- Phlebotomy certification and experience with venipuncture required
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable using EMR systems and working in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Must be flexible to float between Columbia and Greenbelt offices as needed
Preferred:
- Prior experience in OB/GYN or women’s health
- Bilingual (Spanish, French, or another language) is a plus
