Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting providers with patient care and supporting patient flow by assisting physician with documentation as it relates to the patient’s medical record, tracking results and documentation of the defined plan of care on patients of all age groups. Works collaboratively to support healthcare providers to create a professional environment. Provide Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Will adhere to practice protocols and process and effectively manage the volume of work without allowing quality to be compromised. Responsible for scheduling appointments necessary for follow up care.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Medical Assistant School or Vocational Training.
2. Successful completion of Medical Terminology.
3. Proficient in computer skills and data entry.
4. Work experience in health care preferred.
5. Able to read, write and communicate effectively and legibly in English.
6. Strong attention to detail.
7. Medical Assistant Certification.
8. Current BLS certificate.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $23.13. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
