This position is responsible for posting patient and insurance payments to patient accounts.
This position is responsible for posting unassigned payments to patient vouchers once created.
This position will be posting patient account corrections when needed.
Postings will be performed manually and electronically in the medical practice management system.
Occasional Duties
Occasional duties to be completed as assigned by a Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of medical or general office experience OR Completion of related education or training and one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Medical Billing Office experience preferred.
Experience with patient payment posting preferred.
Analyzing medical EOBs experience preferred.
Understanding of contractual adjustments, co-payments/co-insurance, deductibles and insurance allowables preferred.
Medical Practice Management system experience preferred.
