Pend Oreille Vision Care is adding a new office worker position to our practice in August 2025! This is a great opportunity to join a thriving, two-location practice. We love what we do -- our patients are awesome, our work is meaningful, and our staff are fun, intelligent, and tight-knit.
We envision this to be a full-time hourly position (approximately 35 hrs/wk); however, given the right candidate, we are willing to customize the work week to suit your specific needs. We will be screening applicants for someone who wants a career, not a short-term gig. Duties will start with front-office tasks such as scheduling, and work quickly into triage, optical sales, dispensing, and inventory.
Stellar customer service is mandatory! If you're not a people-person, this might not be the job for you. You must be able to handle a high-input environment by learning quickly and continuously. Previous computer skills are a big plus, as is a willingness to cover shifts in our Priest River location. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. Occasional janitorial and exterior/gardening tasks will be required.
