Overview:
We are a small, patient-focused medical office in Toms River seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Medical Secretary to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a calm, professional environment and working directly with patients.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Greet patients and assist with check-in
- Input and update patient insurance information
- Collect co-pays and manage front desk transactions
- Perform light administrative and clerical tasks
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a medical or front-desk setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with EMR systems is a plus
- Professional, reliable, and friendly demeanor
Schedule:
- Part-time, afternoons (2–3 days per week)
- Flexible scheduling available
Compensation:
- $17.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
