Typical work schedule would be Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5pm with rotated Fridays of 8am-12:00pm. On the weeks a Friday is worked, employee will work shorter shifts through the week.
Position would require occasional travel to the Cookeville office for staff coverage.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients in polite, helpful manner. Provide necessary instructions and/or directions.
- Answer phones timely and professionally.
- Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data. Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Verify insurance coverage and patient demographics.
- Use computer system to generate information necessary for billing, including insurance and PCP information.
- Collect copays or fee for services rendered and any past due/current balances.
- Reconcile daily charges and cash, checks, and bankcard payments.
- Send/receive patient medical records in accordance with Health Insurance. Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a clean, orderly waiting area.
PLEASE NOTE: While we do not require the COVID-19 vaccine yet, it is highly encouraged due to the number of patients and age of patients we treat on a daily basis.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
