About the Role
Are you a natural connector with a knack for sales and a passion for people? As a Member Success/Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in driving membership growth, supporting sales efforts, and delivering an extraordinary experience to every person who walks through our doors.
You’ll be the first impression for prospective members and a trusted guide throughout their journey—helping them see the value of Kiln and ensuring their needs are met from day one. You’ll work closely with your Community Director to grow occupancy, nurture relationships, and foster a thriving environment where our members and their businesses can flourish.
Your Key Responsibilities
Sales & Membership Growth (Primary Focus)
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective members—welcoming walk-ins, leading tours, and confidently communicating the Kiln value proposition
- Help maintain a healthy pipeline by following up on leads, preparing proposals, and assisting with contracts and onboarding
- Support the Community Director in achieving sales targets and occupancy goals
- Work with the Business Development Team to manage and convert inbound sales opportunities
- Contribute to quarterly 1:1 member meetings and renewal conversations to help retain and grow existing accounts
Community Experience & Member Support
- Help onboard new members and ensure a seamless, welcoming start to their Kiln journey
- Respond to member needs with professionalism and care—resolving issues or escalating when necessary
- Be an active connector within the space: make member introductions, support local communications, and help create meaningful “collisions”
Event Support & Brand Engagement
- Support planning and execution of events, from networking mixers to professional workshops
- Assist with promotional materials and monthly member newsletters
- Contribute to Kiln’s online presence through the member network and light social content
Day-to-Day Operations
- Keep the space running smoothly—support daily front desk duties, CRM updates, guest check-ins, and general upkeep
- Ensure your Kiln location reflects the brand’s standard of excellence at all times
What You Bring
- 0–2 years of sales, customer service, hospitality, or community-facing experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills—you’re comfortable engaging with prospects and building rapport quickly
- Proactive, organized, and goal-driven, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Collaborative team player who’s equally comfortable working independently
- Passion for Kiln’s mission and values, and for connecting people to places that help them thrive
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn platforms like Google Suite, Slack, Asana, and HubSpot (or similar CRMs)
