Piper Companies is currently seeking a Microbiology Associate based in Durham, North Carolina for work at a leading pharmaceutical company.
This is for the Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30-5PM shift, in-person and the Monday - Friday, 8:30-5PM shift.
Responsibilities of the Associate:
- Conduct quality walk-throughs of the production, testing and warehouse locations
- Collect samples relating to carbon, surface, and air testing, perform gram staining, pH and conductivity testing
- Ensure that all required documents are accurate Perform standard testing of all materials
- -perform endotoxin and bioburden testing, microbial enumeration, plating
- Support routine preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment
Qualifications of the Associate:
- 0-2 years of relevant cGMP experience
- Experience in FDA/EMA regulations in biopharmaceuticals
- Hands-on experience with batch record review and product disposition is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant science
Compensation for the Associate:
- Salary Range: $32 - $35/hr
