Midas is seeking a driven and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team in a hybrid role that also includes part-time responsibilities in our call center. Key Responsibilities:Assistant Manager Duties (Full-Time):
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily shop operations, staff supervision, and workflow efficiency.
- Drive sales performance by ensuring exceptional customer experiences and implementing upsell strategies.
- Train, support, and motivate team members to meet individual and team goals.
- Manage inventory, assist with ordering parts, and ensure service bays are running efficiently.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor performance metrics and support ongoing operational improvements.
Call Center Representative Duties (Part-Time):
- Answer inbound calls related to appointments, services, pricing, and general automotive inquiries.
- Place outbound calls for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and promotional outreach.
- Coordinate service schedules between customers and the service team using internal systems.
- Document all customer interactions in the CRM system accurately.
- Provide a positive, knowledgeable, and courteous customer experience on every call.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in retail or automotive management, customer service, or sales.
- Previous experience in a call center or phone-based support role preferred.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of automotive services and products is a strong plus.
- Comfortable with POS and CRM systems; basic computer proficiency required.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time hours for assistant manager responsibilities.
- Additional scheduled part-time hours for call center duties (typically evenings or weekends).
- Flexibility required during peak seasons, holidays, and special promotions.
