The Ministry Assistant will work closely with the Women’s Minister, the Care Pastor, and other staff to ensure the success of ministry initiatives and events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ministry support and preparation under the guidance of the ministry leaders to coordinate and provide meals for large church gatherings such as (but not limited to) Double Oak University, Women’s Ministry events, and Men’s Ministry events
- Lead the decoration process of church facilities for special occasions, recruiting and managing a volunteer team to accomplish the task
- Provide hospitality for ministry events such as funerals, green room hospitality for worship events, etc.
- Event planning and coordination supporting senior adult ministry and women’s ministry
- Answer phones and welcome appointments as they come into the church office as needed, serve as the primary backup to the office receptionist.
- This position demands a person with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
