Position Summary
As a Molding Machine Operator, you'll play a key role in our production process. You'll operate molding machines, inspect and trim parts, and perform secondary operations using hand and power tools. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery and takes pride in producing quality parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate molding machines to meet production schedules
- Trim, sort, and inspect molded parts
- Perform secondary operations using drill presses and power tools
- Ensure machines are properly loaded with plastic material
- Use pneumatic cutters and knives to separate parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools
- Ability to read bills of material and basic drawings
- Ability to operate pallet jacks
- Manual dexterity and good eyesight/hearing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance
