JOB SUMMARY
We are hiring for support positions with weekend availability at the Bear Tooth Theatre! We are looking for cashiers, expos, and food runners who are committed to providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for our guests.
As a Theatre Cashier, you'll be the first friendly face our guests see when they arrive. You'll handle ticket and concession sales, provide top-notch customer service, and ensure that our guests have a fantastic experience from the moment they enter our theatre.
The ideal candidates will have great communication skills, a positive attitude, and be team players. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Qualifications
Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card. On-the-job tools and training provided.
Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions
- Stand and walk for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
- Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
- Lift and carry 30+ lbs
- Communicate professionally and effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments
- Organization and prioritization skills
- Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- Bend, move quickly around the restaurant, and stop and wipe frequently
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
