Job Overview
We are seeking Nail Salon Receptionist, who serves as the first point of contact for clients and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional salon experience. This position is responsible for managing the front desk, scheduling appointments, handling client inquiries, and supporting the salon team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Social Media Management will be a plus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence and promote our brand.
Responsibilities
Appointment Management
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments using booking software
- Coordinate appointments to ensure proper flow and avoid overbooking
- Maintain up-to-date appointment records and client preferences
- Follow up with clients for reminders or post-visit feedback
Front Desk & Administrative Tasks
- Check in and check out clients
- Manage the salon’s POS system, including billing and processing payments
- Maintain a clean and organized salon
- Handle opening cleaning procedures
- Monitor stock levels of supplies (brochures, forms, nail supplies etc.)
- Keep retail display tidy and stocked
- Record product sales and assist in monthly inventory
- Help maintain a positive and professional salon atmosphere
- Answer phone calls, emails, and social media messages professionally
- Provide information on services, prices, promotions, and products
- Handle customer complaints or redirect them to the manager when necessary
- Offer beverages or magazines to waiting clients
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
