Job Summary
Moon Brook Medicine is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Naturopath to join our holistic health team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in natural medicine and demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care. As a Naturopath, you will assess patients' health needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide guidance on lifestyle changes to promote overall wellness.
You have a particular interest in treating women's health.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing naturopathic principles and therapies.
- Administer IV infusions and perform venipuncture as needed.
- Monitor vital signs and evaluate patients’ responses to treatments.
- Utilize aseptic techniques in all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients on nutrition, herbal remedies, and lifestyle modifications to support their health goals.
- Stay informed about advancements in naturopathic medicine and integrate new knowledge into practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and pediatric care is preferred.
- Proficiency in IV insertion techniques and botulinum toxin treatment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Open to building a client base within the community.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of naturopathy.
