We are seeking exceptional and professional Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers to join our dedicated team. This includes an opportunity for one individual to serve as a Driver Supervisor.
As a valued team member, you will be responsible for safely and comfortably transporting clients to and from medical appointments. The Driver Supervisor will also play a key role in overseeing fellow drivers, ensuring our high standards for vehicle cleanliness, client interaction, and operational consistency are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
All Drivers:
- Provide Safe Transportation: Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by strictly adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Uphold Reliability: Demonstrate punctuality and dependability for all scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs, maintaining accurate records of transportation services.
- Show Compassion: Display empathy and understanding towards clients, offering assistance with boarding and exiting the vehicle and addressing any special needs or concerns.
- Foster Fraternity: Cultivate a positive and supportive environment by building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Promote Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with fellow drivers, dispatchers, and support staff to ensure seamless coordination of transportation services.
- Communicate effectively with clients, especially in the case of unforeseen changes.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of company vehicles in accordance with Diamond Care standards.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and South Carolina State laws, HIPAA, and other applicable policies and regulations.
- Conduct routine spot-checks and visual inspections of company vehicles to ensure cleanliness, branding, and proper equipment standards are met.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for other drivers to report issues, submit incident reports, or ask operational questions.
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to drivers based on performance, safety, and service quality.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new drivers in accordance with company policies.
- Report directly to management with insights and updates on fleet operations and team performance.
Support dispatch and logistics operations during high-volume periods or in the supervisor’s absence.
For All Drivers:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Previous experience in NEMT or a related field (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and attentiveness to client needs.
- Ability to work independently and consistently uphold company values.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or senior driver role.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills. - Comfortable using mobile apps or online tools for scheduling, reporting, and communication.
- Ability to professionally handle conflict, provide feedback, and maintain accountability among peers.
- All drivers must be available 6 days a week – 5 scheduled days and 1 flex (on-call) day.
