JOB SUMMARY:


The NetSuite Administrator is a subject matter expert responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing our NetSuite ERP platform to support multiple business units. This position plays a key role in streamlining business processes, developing and optimizing workflows, customizing forms and scripts using SuiteScript, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals. This individual will also serve as the primary liaison between the company and an offshore team of engineers, ensuring clear communication, timely execution of deliverables, and quality control.


DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


  • Serve as the in-house NetSuite subject matter expert
  • Knowledge of WMS. NetSuite Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Record-to Report (R2R)
  • Build, test, deploy, and maintain advanced workflows, saved searches, dashboards, KPIs, and custom records and forms, to optimize day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and maintain custom SuiteScripts (1.0 and 2.0) to automate business processes, enforce validation rules, and enhance system functionality.
  • Collaborate with departments to identify inefficiencies and deliver NetSuite-based solutions that increase productivity and accuracy.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with offshore development teams to assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality output and adherence to business requirements.
  • Manage system upgrades, sandbox refreshes, role/permission administration, and third-party integrations.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure adoption and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure uptime, data integrity, and security.
  • Act as project manager for NetSuite enhancements and participate in larger IT projects that impact NetSuite functionality.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of NetSuite’s product roadmap and stay current with new features and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on NetSuite administration and SuiteScript development experience.
  • Knowledge of WMS. NetSuite Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Record-to-Report (R2R)
  • Strong experience with SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration with operations, finance, and customer service teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to translate technical terms to non-technical users.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working with offshore teams is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with third-party NetSuite integrations and data migration tools is a bonus.
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, and project management tools such as Asana or Jira.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Works in an office or remote setting.

Frequent use of a computer, phone, and email is required. Position may require occasional travel (5–10%) for team collaboration or vendor meetings.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, operate a computer and standard office equipment, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
