Job Summary
The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position is responsible for performing front desk duties, managing guest accounts, and conducting nightly audits of financial transactions. Duties
- Perform nightly audits of all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing exceptional customer service.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, utilizing effective phone etiquette.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery throughout the hotel.
- Ensure the security of the hotel premises during night shifts by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular checks.
Skills
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and financial reporting is advantageous.
