Position Overview
We are looking for responsible and courteous Medical Transport Drivers to join our growing team. As a driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients get to and from their medical appointments safely and on time, with a high level of care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to transport patients to medical appointments.
- Assist passengers in and out of vehicles when necessary (including wheelchair-secured transport if trained/certified).
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to schedule.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips and mileage.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, dispatch, and healthcare facilities.
- Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained; report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Strong sense of punctuality and customer service.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Ability to lift and assist passengers with mobility limitations.
- Familiarity with GPS and local routes is a plus.
- Must be reliable, patient, and compassionate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical transport or working with seniors or persons with disabilities.
- Valid Passenger Endorsement or CDL (if applicable).
- Bilingual abilities a plus (especially Spanish, Mandarin, or ASL).
