Job Summary
As a Nursing Home Administrator, you will oversee the daily operations and management of a nursing home or assisted living facility. Your role is crucial in ensuring high-quality care for senior residents while maintaining compliance with regulations and providing effective leadership to staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the nursing home or assisted living facility
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to senior care
- Supervise and support staff members in providing quality care to residents
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance resident care and safety
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting and financial planning
- Coordinate with medical professionals, families, and other stakeholders to address resident needs
- Implement programs for memory care, dementia care, and other specialized services
- Maintain a positive environment that promotes the well-being of residents and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or assisted living facility
- Strong financial acumen to manage budgets effectively
- Knowledge of operations management in a senior care setting
- Familiarity with long-term care regulations and best practices
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff members to deliver exceptional care
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $70.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
