Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing schedules, and ensuring efficient workflow within the office environment. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office management software, and the ability to multitask effectively. Understanding the Montessori method of teaching and a minimum of 12 ECE units along with securing fingerprinting and a background check to be able to work around children.
Some classroom participation will be required during your work shift as needed to provide classroom coverage.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain classroom attendance , ensuring all appointments and meetings are organized efficiently.
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and develop digital documents to ensure easy access to information.
- Communicate with traching staff and facilitate teacher to student ratio , providing guidance and support as needed to foster a productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles is preferred.
- Strong skills in schedule management and organizational abilities are essential.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required for effective interaction with parents of the children.
- Ability to communicate with staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills is crucial for success in this role.
