Position Overview:
Circle of Life Hospice is seeking a reliable and motivated Office Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day administrative operations. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, detail-oriented, and comfortable with multitasking. They will assist the Administrator and Human Resources department, answer phones, and provide front desk coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide administrative support to the Administrator and Human Resources, including filing, data entry, and scheduling support
- Maintain and organize office records, documents, and supply inventory
- Assist with onboarding tasks and other HR-related support as directed
- Perform additional clerical duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and procedures
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset
Preferred but not required:
- Prior administrative or office support experience
- Familiarity with healthcare or hospice settings
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.15 - $20.15 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
