OrthoLegal is a rapidly expanding, woman/physician-owned medicolegal management company. We work with doctors, patients, and lawyers by providing physicians who are neutral and qualified for contested workers compensation cases. Our beautiful and recently remodeled headquarters are in Marina del Rey, California, with over 80 offices throughout the state, and growing rapidly. In our third year, we have 115 physicians working with the company.
We are seeking a full-time, in-person Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be present in Marina del Rey to support the executive team, particularly the CEO, in the efficient running of the clinic in regards to resource utilization including staff, inventory, and offices, and oversee the day to day operations of such. The Office Manager will manage a team of Case Managers, Medical Assistants, Historians, Editors, Sales/Marketing, and other support staff. This individual will act as a liaison between the executive team and various departments, ensuring smooth communication, efficient workflow, and the successful implementation of company initiatives. Self-motivation and problem solving abilities are a must. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, Workers' Compensation, and leadership.

Responsibilities:
- Management of a growing team of detail-oriented case managers in office (currently 12 Case Managers)
- Management and scheduling of bright, full- and part-time travelling medical assistants who staff offices throughout Southern California and Northern California, including oversight of facilities (currently sixteen medical assistants)
- Oversight of a team of international physicians performing remote technical work (currently a team of 80 with a local manager)
- Location utilization of leases and subleases throughout the state of California; oversight of rent payments by bookkeeping staff
- Organization of the set-up of new offices including maintenance and application for insurance and compliance for offices throughout the state of California, organization of access
- Quality assurance and reimbursement of vendors
- Outreach to physicians and attorneys
- Liaise with physician clients and government agencies
- Human Resources tasks including approval timekeeping, payroll, onboarding, and training using our Standard Operating Procedures
- Seek out new team-members and conducting hiring interviews and aptitude metrics
- Oversight of supply inventory and replenishment
Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Desired: experience running a medical clinic, preferably in Orthopaedic Surgery and Workers Compensation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
