My client, a contractor with offices in Coral Springs is looking for an office manager to start immediately. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the administrative and operational efficiency of our office. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including reception, scheduling, and general administrative tasks.
- Coordinate with field staff, project managers, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project support.
- Manage office supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable (in collaboration with our accountant).
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both electronic and paper.
- Support HR functions, such as onboarding, timekeeping, and maintaining employee records.
- Implement and improve office procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in office management, preferably in the construction or electrical contracting industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
- A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $23.74 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
