Opportunity Overview
LitePoint is a leading provider of wireless test solutions, we deliver cutting-edge products to the market faster. Located in San Jose, California, our HW design team thrives on innovation. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Engineer- Optics Photonics to act as a technical leader working on the design and the benchmark of new products.
This position offers hands-on experience, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities to contribute to future product innovations.
Roles & Responsibility:
- System architecture: Participate in discussions about product definition, technology, and architecture.
- Research: Explore new technologies and applications.
- Equipment: Evaluate equipment for testing and benchmark for optical communication.
- Specifications: Work with customer test requirements and create competitive specifications.
- Test: Develop test plans and test scripts to bring up prototypes and models.

Minimum Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in physics, electrical engineering, or related fields.
3 years of experience in:
- Fundamental understanding of integrated photonics.
- Fundamental understanding of high-speed data design.
- Knowledge / experience with test requirements, techniques, and methods for manufacturing optical transceivers.
- Experience working with integrated photonics chips or systems.
- Experience working with test and measurement equipment in the relevant field.
- Proven track record with optical communication devices.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $157 700 - $252 300. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
