We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of various ocular conditions. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments or referrals as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the use of corrective lenses.
- Collaborate with optical staff to ensure seamless patient experiences from examination to eyewear selection.
- Stay updated on advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Assist in the training of support staff regarding medical terminology and patient care protocols.
Experience
- A Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and vital signs is essential.
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in optical sales and understanding of medical coding is a plus.
- Previous experience managing medical records and adhering to HIPAA standards is highly valued.

Pay: $165,823.00 - $176,729.00 per year
