POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts routine property walks
- Interact with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees
- Lay out the rubber matting and benches to prepare the rink area for the public
- Clear ice rink of snow/sleet as well as surrounding walkways and bench areas
- Skate Guards will be responsible for the safety of the skaters while on the Oval
- Skate Guards will be responsible for checking tickets at the gate and reminding patrons to return rented skates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position will require a large amount of walking, climbing, stooping and possible heavy lifting. This position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, as well as work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Degree and/or GED
- One year of customer service experience desired
- First Aid response training and/or experience desired
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to ice skate
- Ability to work flexible hours on weekdays, weekends, school vacations and holidays
- Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be at least 18 years old
