Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and be able to work on residential and construction sites.
Duties
- Perform painting duties including preparing surfaces, selecting and mixing paints, and applying finishes
- Work on new construction projects as well as repaint existing structures
- Utilize drywall, stucco, and trim carpentry skills when needed
- Read and interpret blueprints for painting specifications
- Install fixtures as required during painting projects
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential and construction painting
- Proficiency in drywall, stucco, and trim carpentry
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Knowledge of fixture installation is a plus
- Maintenance Person skills for general maintenance tasks are beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
