Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail. The Painter/Laborer will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and performing related tasks to enhance the aesthetics and durability of structures.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as necessary.
- Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Renovate existing structures by performing tasks such as trim carpentry and masonry work.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine material needs for projects.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks as required for specific projects.
- Utilize knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate colors and finishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment on job sites.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with commercial painting techniques is preferred.
- Skills in trim carpentry, masonry, and concrete finishing are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in various settings is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to the trade.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively.

Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
