Blair Academy’s Childcare Learning Center has an opening for a part-time teacher who will join a team of teachers that strive, create and provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children in an early childhood setting. The candidate will ensure, support and maintain the individual needs of the children and families of Blair Academy, providing the highest-quality care and modeling effective communication, positive behavior and joyful discovery.
- Assist, support and implement a developmentally age-appropriate curriculum for children from the ages of 6 weeks through 13 years;
- Strive to create and support each child and family’s individual needs;
- Support Blair Academy’s Learning Center’s mission and philosophy, as well as policies;
- Grow professionally in the field of early childhood by participating in trainings, workshops and webinars; and
- Ensure a continuity of care by supporting the daily needs of the Learning Center.
- Experience within the field of early childhood education preferred;
- Afternoon availability a must;
- Flexible with schedule and available part-time weekly hours based on Blair’s academic calendar, including Mondays through Fridays and Saturday mornings;
- CPR-certified preferred.
Salary & other compensation:
Base pay range $16-$19 per hour. Salary dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to education and experience.
