We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience for all attendees. This role requires a blend of customer service skills, hospitality knowledge, and the ability to manage diverse situations effectively. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all event attendees, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture and equipment as needed.
- Engage with children and families in a friendly manner, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Support food service operations by serving food and beverages as required.
- Actively participate in public speaking opportunities when necessary, providing information about the event or organization.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event operations.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experiences:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial.
- Experience working with children in various settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of food service practices is advantageous.
Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends (weekday availability a plus).
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
- Be on your feet for extended periods of time.
