Job Summary
We are seeking temporary, part-time assistance in our fabrication and commercial printing studio. We are a small business that specializes in art exhibits and signage, primarily using acrylic or wood. As this position is temporary, this position is ideal for post-grads looking for extra work or individuals looking to enhance their resumes with a fabrication/design reference. No relevant experience required. Potential room for growth, dependent on performance. Schedule is very flexible, within our normal work hours of 9AM-5PM. We are looking for at minimum 12 hours/week and up to 25 hours/week.
Responsibilities
- Assist fabrication team with the creation and completion of large scale projects.
- Organizing and assembling projects with accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with fabrication team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to operate various power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
