Dance-N-Groove is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team! This part-time (afternoon/evening hours) position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with both children and adults in a fun, energetic dance studio environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet students and parents, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Answer and return calls, providing excellent customer service
- Register new students and assist with class placement
- Answer questions about schedules, tuition, and studio policies
- Size and manage dancewear inventory
- Assist with student needs, including first aid when necessary
- Support teachers with student-related issues as needed
- Light cleaning to keep the studio neat and presentable
- Assist the studio director with various tasks throughout the year
Qualifications:
- Friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys working with children and families
- Dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
Bonus skills (not required, but a plus!):
- Experience in customer service or office work
- Familiarity with dance or performing arts environments
