Job Overview:
Patient Services Coordinator (part-time)
We are a Cancer Center located in Sarasota and currently seeking a part-time permanent Patient Services Coordinator who is punctual, dependable, and anxious to become a part of our team. This part-time permanent position pertains to three-related entities: Dattoli Cancer Center, Dattoli Cancer Foundation, and MJD Supplements.
Dattoli Cancer Center Responsibilities:
- Respond to email inquiries and phone calls from potential new patients.
- Send forms/letters outlining requirements for free telephone consultations.
- Collect and organize patient reports for doctor reviews.
- New-Patient binder preparation as need by nursing staff.
- Conduct brief tours of the facility for new patients, showcasing machines and services.
- Facilitate patient signings on the anniversary wall at their 5-year treatment milestone.
- Responsible for social media postings and monitoring
Dattoli Cancer Foundation Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mail tax deduction letters for donations received.
- Organize monthly Prostate Café on-site events, ensuring attendee sign-ins and assisting with event setup.
- Organize and attend annual Board meeting.
Supplements Company Responsibilities:
- Process orders received through the website, including printing packing slips and creating shipping labels.
- Manage inventory of supplements and place supplier orders to maintain stock levels.
- Provide supplier sales order and invoices to the Controller.
- Provide other monthly reports to the Controller.
- Assist in marketing of supplements.
Skills required:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Other basic computer and office equipment skills.
- Friendly telephone skills.
- Prompt responses to emails and voicemails.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Good and legible penmanship.
The position:
This position is Monday through Friday and projected to be 4 to 5 hours per day. Start-time is flexible at either 8 a.m. or 9 a.m.; once your preference is discussed, punctuality will be a must. On the other hand, each day’s departure cannot occur until that day’s workload is completed. The position includes a limited portion of our benefits package but does include holiday pay, 401(k), and profit sharing. The position compensates at $20.00 to $24.00 per hour contingent upon qualifications.
