Job Description Summary:
This position is being created to help supervise the day-to-day needs of the Patient Transportation Department. The team lead will be the main contact person for unexpected or unforeseen questions and concerns from a testing facility, nursing floor, or ancillary area when the manager is not available. In addition to this, they will be responsible for training new associates, creating the schedule, and ongoing education within the department.Responsibilities And Duties:
1. 25%Distribute transportation request orders to transporters, using prioritizing skills and excellent interpersonal communication and holding transporters accountable for time management. 2.

Transporting patients to and from various testing areas throughout the facility. 3.

Create weekly schedules, and correspond with manager regarding associate tap days. 4.

: Administrative duties, including creating work orders, inputting volume statistics, and goal deployment metrics on a weekly and monthly basis. 5.

: Training new associates and set forth examples of best practice through leading by example. 6. 5%
: Help associates with scheduling competencies and compliances.
